Who is involved?
To manage the Peace and Security Initiative (PSI), which involves over 250 organizations, volunteers from within the peace and security community have formed an Implementation Team (I-Team) charged with executing the strategic plan. Outside experts agree that the ideal size of a managing team is 10-13 people; the I-Team is currently composed of 9 people, including Alexandra Toma, the Director of the PSI. Members of the I-Team are asked for a two-year commitment and are chosen when there is a perceived need that is lacking.
Current Implementation Team Members:
- Naila Bolus, Executive Director, Ploughshares Fund
- Susan Gordon, Director, Alliance for Nuclear Accountability
- John Isaacs, Executive Director, Council for a Livable World
- Priscilla Lewis, Co-Director, U.S. in the World Initiative
